Sarah volunteers in different organisations working with young people. She has been involved with one-off events, regular committee meetings and attending community meetings, trying to collaborate across organisations. She volunteers with the Buderim Foundation Youth Committee, recently holding their annual Youth in Philanthropy event and working on growing youth involvement in the organisation. She has been volunteering with the Sunshine Coast Council in their Youth Action Group on the formative documents for a Junior Council program. During COVID, she volunteered virtually with a young migrant woman, tutoring in English, and assisting with preparing for her to enter the workforce. She also moderated and helped to organise the National Youth Commission’s Youth Futures Summit. She is volunteering with multiple organisations as well as connecting with youth in the community to strengthen intra-organisational collaboration and respond to the needs of young people in the community.

Congratulations Sarah on the good volunteering you do, thank you!
