Wishlist was created in 1998 with the aim of fundraising for the needs of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. Since that time, Wishlist has raised over $17 million with the help and generosity of the local community for the Coast’s local health system.
20 years ago, a group of friends got together to play wheelchair basketball every week. From those humble beginnings arose the Suncoast Spinners, a wheelchair basketball club on the Sunshine Coast whose mission is to provide inclusive wheelchair sport to the Sunshine Coast community and greater region. The Suncoast Spinners have provided important leadership through active engagement in the community. They raise awareness around wheelchair sport through demonstrations at local schools and community groups in a fun and educational environment that seeks to break down barriers and tackle misconceptions surrounding wheelchair sports.

Homelessness affects one in 200 people in Australia. The reasons people experience homelessness are numerous and complex and are associated with issues such as family breakdown, mental illness and financial difficulty. Young people are in particular danger of experiencing homelessness because of difficulties in securing long-term accommodation and are disproportionately affected by poverty and the lack of affordable housing. Aus Living Support Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to combating the rising issue of homelessness on the Sunshine Coast.
