Have your say about the state of volunteering in Queensland and help shape the future of volunteering going forward!  

Volunteering Queensland is pleased to announce it will be undertaking its second State of Volunteering in Queensland Report and is calling on every manager and coordinator of volunteers (paid and unpaid) to contribute their valuable voice to this important report by undertaking this survey.

The report will help shape a strong, sustainable future for volunteering and your volunteer program by providing key evidence that helps us:  

• Better understand the characteristics of volunteers, volunteer involving organisations and volunteering in Queensland. 
• Quantify the economic and social value of our volunteers and volunteering.  
• Improve decision-making and approaches for maximising opportunities for the engagement and contribution of our volunteer workforce.  
• Shape targeted business cases for investment in and advancing volunteering by measuring the value of volunteering and the high return on investment it delivers.  
• Provide a roadmap tracking current trends in volunteering in comparison to the 2020 State of Volunteering in Queensland Report.  

This report will provide Volunteering Queensland, and your organisation, with informed evidence to influence where and what support and resources are needed.  We aim to enable every motivated Queenslander access to meaningful, safe, impactful volunteering opportunities and ensure volunteer involving organisations have the resources they need to recruit, manage and retain a strong volunteer workforce.
